Equipoise Software You Tube Channel

Did you know we have a YouTube channel?

Our channel features webinars and demo videos designed to give you deeper insight into our Velit (VelPAK) and InSeis (Kingdom Seismic Inversion) software. Each video highlights key functionality, showing how our tools can enhance your workflows and help you achieve more accurate results.

Currently available to watch:

VelPAK (Velit) Depth Conversion with HiDef Velocities

This video introduces the HiDef module, part of our integrated Depth Conversion toolkit. Available within IHS Kingdom (VelPAK) and Schlumberger Petrel (Velit), the HiDef module brings log-level detail into your velocity model. Whether preparing input for an inversion study or examining intra-layer complexity within a layer-cake depth conversion, understanding velocity variation at every scale is critical for reliable field evaluation.

VelPAK (Velit) Depth Conversion with Monte Carlo Simulation

Here, we demonstrate the Risk Reduction module, which generates multiple depth conversion scenarios for analysis. From volumetric probability distributions to spill point evaluation and closure probability mapping, this workflow helps you reduce drilling risk and identify the most promising prospects. Like other modules, it integrates seamlessly with both Kingdom and Petrel platforms. We also provide dedicated Depth Conversion and Velocity Modelling training courses for Velit/VelPAK users.

Kingdom Seismic Inversion (Simulated Annealing Inversion) Demo

This session showcases our Seismic Inversion package, focusing on the Simulated Annealing (SA) global optimisation technique. The demo illustrates how easily you can step through the process to generate inverted volumes. Both Coloured Inversion (for relative impedance) and Simulated Annealing Inversion (for absolute acoustic impedance) are included, giving you a powerful, flexible inversion workflow.
