New Features for Inversion in Kingdom 2026

With the Kingdom Release due out soon we thought we’d run through the latest features for Inversion that will be appearing in it!

Colored Inversion

Added CHI angle dial in EEI Impedance tab of Colored inversion. This feature is useful when the exact CHI is unknown, allowing users to move the dial  from left to right between -90 to 90 degrees to find a best match between EEI and a petrophysical log. Once a match is found, an EEI volume can be saved for further analysis.

Tools/Option

Updated velocity.set file. his file is created when users launch the KSI for the first time with appropriate minimum and maximum velocity values to be used for log analysis. Users can modify the values which are then saved for late use.
