Colored Inversion (CI) and Spectral Blueing
CI offers a fast and robust approach for generating relative impedance. By applying a matching filter, it shapes seismic traces to align with well log data, bypassing the need for wavelet estimation and low-frequency model building. To further enhance vertical resolution, spectral blueing can be applied prior to Colored Inversion.
Post-Stack Simulated Annealing (SA) Inversion
SA Inversion delivers acoustic impedance models. It uses a model-driven approach, removing wavelet effects and being less reliant on starting models. The method optimises impedance to match seismic traces. It supports multi-CPU processing for volume generation and outputs both absolute and relative acoustic impedance.
Pre-Stack Inversion
Pre stack inversion works with angle stacks to estimate acoustic impedance, shear impedance, and density. It employs a cascaded and constrained SA inversion workflow, facilitating the derivation of elastic parameters like Vp/Vs and Young’s modulus for both conventional and unconventional reservoirs.
Extended Elastic Impedance (EEI) Inversion
EEI Inversion enables the prediction of key petrophysical properties, such as porosity, Vshale, and TOC, by rotating inverted impedances (AI and SI, or AI and GI) across a range of chi (χ) angles. EEI can be calculated from either absolute or relative impedances, with the latter obtained through CI or SA inversion.
Low-Frequency Model (LFM) Building
The HiDef and LogToVolume (LTV) modules build LFM models for inversion by propagating well log data within a predefined layered framework. HiDef is embedded within the SA Inversion, while LTV operates as a standalone module. LTV supports deviated and horizontal wells and can generate non-velocity property volumes such as density, gamma ray, and porosity.
