This year’s theme focuses on “Navigating Change: Geosciences Shaping a Sustainable Transition,” highlighting the critical role of geosciences in promoting global sustainability The key issues of energy security, energy independence and a move toward a sustainable energy transition will be highlighted at the conference, including debate around how we can cooperate and adapt our traditional ways of working to address our uncertain future.

What The Will Programme Focus On

The new Strategic Programme will focus on a broad range of key topics, while the conference itself will highlight how cutting-edge research in geophysics, geology, and engineering is shaping innovative and impactful solutions. The high-quality Technical Programme will feature fresh ideas and real-world case studies, along with discussions on crucial themes such as decision-making and analysis, ongoing digital transformation, the evolution of industry partnerships, and strategies for enhancing stakeholder engagement. A major emphasis will also be placed on low-carbon initiatives, with technical sessions spotlighting recent advancements in CCS, CCUS, hydrogen storage, geothermal energy, and wind.

In the subsurface domain—whether it’s the exploration of new oil and gas reservoirs or identifying prime sites for carbon capture and storage—depth accuracy is vital. Our clients consistently report predictive accuracy with errors under 1% relative to total target depth. We’re eager to hear how you currently approach depth conversion in your workflows and explore how we can support you in achieving similar precision. We offer strategic assessments of existing practices and can demonstrate how our software, combined with targeted training, can significantly reduce depth-related risk. Additionally, our depth conversion tools are now optimized for high-resolution data applications in the wind sector—an exciting innovation we’ll be presenting at the event!
