Equipoise Software YouTube Channel

Our YouTube Channel has gone live today!

Here you will find webinars and videos giving you insight into our Velit (VelPAK) and InSeis (Kingdom Seismic Inversion) software packages. We aim to provide a series of videos that will walk you through key areas of our software, highlighting the comprehensive nature of the packages we develop, to give you a greater understanding of our capabilities and what our products can help you achieve.

Available to view today are:

VelPAK (Velit) Depth Conversion with HiDef Velocities

In this video we walk you through our HiDef module.  The module is part of our comprehensive Depth Conversion toolset which is incorporated as an integrated module within IHS Kingdom platform (branded as VelPAK) and plugs into Schlumberger’s Petrel platform (branded as Velit). Our software can add log level detail to your velocity model. Whether you want an input for an inversion study, or to see the impact of intra-layer complexity on your layer-cake depth conversion, seeing all levels of velocity complexity is key to accurate field assessment.

VelPAK (Velit) Depth Conversion with Monte Carlo Simulation

In this video we walk you through our Risk Reduction module, detailing how we can help you produce a range of depth conversions which can be analysed to provide volumetric probability distribution functions, spill point analysis and probability of closure maps.  This will empower you to easily identify commercially viable prospects and minimise the risk associated with drilling a dry well.  This module is part of our comprehensive Depth Conversion toolset which is incorporated within IHS Kingdom platform and plugs into Schlumberger’s Petrel platform. We also offer a series of Depth Conversion/Velocity Modelling training courses for our Velit/VelPAK Software.

Kingdom Seismic Inversion (Simulated Annealing Inversion) Demo

In this video we walk you through our Seismic Inversion package and give you a better understanding of the Simulated Annealing global optimisation technique, and also demonstrate the ease of use in stepping through the software to produce an inverted volume.  This software incorporates Coloured Inversion and Simulated Annealing Inversion (SA) that determine relative impedance and absolute acoustic impedance respectively.
